3 Test hundreds Litton Das has scored after coming in with Bangladesh 50 for 4 or worse, including the one against Pakistan in the second Test in Rawalpindi. Here, he came in at 26 for 5 and scored 138. His first Test hundred, also against Pakistan, in Chattogram in 2021 came after he walked in at 49 for 4. His 141 against Sri Lanka in Mirpur in 2022 came after Bangladesh were 24 for 5.

Litton is the first player to score three Test hundreds after coming in to bat at No. 6 or lower with his team's score at 50 or fewer. No other batter has more than one century in these circumstances.

26 Bangladesh's total when they lost their sixth wicket, their joint-lowest at the loss of the sixth wicket. They were 26 for 6 against South Africa in their second innings in Durban in 2022 as well. Unlike in Rawalpindi, where their batters put up a rearguard, Bangladesh folded for 53 then.

262 Bangladesh's total is the highest by a team after being six down for 50 or less. The previous highest was 255 by Pakistan after being 41 for 6 against England at The Oval in 1967.

78 Runs scored by Mehidy Hasan Miraz after coming in at 26 for 6. It's the highest score by a batter at No. 8 when coming in with the team total yet to hit 30. The previous highest was Moin Khan's 70 against India in the first Test of the Asian Test Championship in Kolkata in 1998-99. Pakistan were also on 26 for 6 when Moin walked in. West Indies' Joshua Da Silva and England's Charlie Absolom are the only other batters at No. 8 or lower to score fifties from these situations.

1 Litton and Mehidy were paired up with Bangladesh at 26 for 6 and put on 165 runs together. It is the first time a partnership for the seventh wicket or lower has put on more than 150 runs to rescue a team that until then did not even have 50 on the board. Jonny Bairstow and Jamie Overton added 241 against New Zealand in Leeds in 2022 after England were reduced to 55 for 6 in their first innings. That was the previous lowest total from which a seventh- or lower-wicket partnership had added 150-plus runs in Test cricket.

2 Number of times a team has had two 150-plus partnerships for their seventh or lower wicket in a Test series. Apart from the Litton-Mehidy stand, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehidy had added 196 for the seventh wicket in the first Test of this series. The other instance had come during New Zealand's tour to South Africa in 2006, when the visitors had added 183 runs for the seventh wicket in the Centurion Test and 256 for the eighth wicket in Cape Town.

149 Deliveries Bangladesh's ninth-wicket partnership lasted. It is their fifth-longest partnership in terms of balls for the ninth or tenth wicket. Mahmudullah and Taskin Ahmed batted for 270 balls during their 191-run partnership against Zimbabwe in 2021, which is their longest for the last two wickets.

2003 Last time a Pakistan fast bowler registered better figures than Khurram Shahzad's 6 for 90 at home (or in the UAE). Shoaib Akhtar had taken 6 for 50 in Peshawar then, coincidentally also against Bangladesh. Between these two performances, Pakistan played 68 Tests at home or in the UAE.
