Manchester City this Saturday, Liverpool on September 22, and City again on the last weekend of the month. That is the mouth-watering prospect awaiting football fans who tune in to the Premier League's Match of the Week on Kwesé Free Sports.

There is always an extra buzz about club fixtures immediately after an international break, as supporters look forward to a return to their regular diets. Have the stars come through the international fixtures unscathed; will they be fully fit for the rigours of Premiership football after long journey? These questions way heavily.

For City followers - and surely many neutrals - there are a couple of big questions ahead of their match with newly-promoted Fulham (Kwesé Free Sports, 15 September, 15:30 CAT).

Will there be a glimpse of Leroy Sane, so far sidelined by Pep Guardiola, and will Raheem Sterling have recovered from the back injury that kept him out of England's recent internationals?

The way City play, it possibly does not matter too much, given the presence of Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva, and the irresistible wingbacks Kyle Walker and Benjamin Mendy.

Fulham, meanwhile, boast the Premiership's in-form centre-forward in Aleksandar Mitrovic, and he will be eager to test Vincent Kompany and John Stones' powers of recovery.

Fulham fans will be anticipating their trip to the Etihad with a degree of optimism. Theirs is not a team willing to sit back and take punishment, and the past year has shown that the only sides to extract any success out of a match with City have been those bold enough to go toe-to-toe, as another promoted side, Wolves, demonstrated recently.

If there is one side capable of regularly standing up to the champions, and even bettering them, it is Liverpool, and on 22 September, football lovers will be able to watch them live at home to Southampton on KFS. One can almost smell the goal-feast cooking already...

And then it's City again as the champions host plucky Brighton and Hove Albion, live on KFS on September 29. And, while City will expect three points, Chris Hughton is guaranteed to put out a bold and disciplined team capable of giving the hosts a difficult afternoon.
