The Houston Astros are in first place in the American League West and doing what they can to stay there. This means dipping into their talented farm system to augment the major league roster. Lance McCullers was first to make the jump this season and soon became the youngest pitcher to throw a complete game with 10 or more strikeouts and no walks in nearly 20 years. His draft classmate, Carlos Correa, joined him with the Astros this week and became the youngest player in the majors, period. On Wednesday, the Astros will introduce the world to right-handed starter Vincent Velasquez, who was ranked as Houston's third-best prospect by Keith Law.
