What Dansby Swanson can do for the Braves

In a bit of a surprise move, the Atlanta Braves have promoted the first overall pick in the 2015 draft, Dansby Swanson, to the major leagues.

The former Vanderbilt standout dominated his brief stint in the Carolina League before holding his own at Double-A, with a slash line of. 261/.342/.402. The 22-year-old will take over as the team's shortstop with the trade of Erick Aybar to the Detroit Tigers.

So what does Swanson bring to the club that made him such a hot prospect, and what can Braves fans and fantasy owners expect in 2016 and beyond?
