The Johor Crown Prince outlined four major changes he plans to implement after he was officially installed on Saturday as the 15th Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) president at the national body's elections.
The man known as TMJ, assumed the FAM mantle unopposed after his rival Tan Sri Annuar Musa, of Kelantan, withdrew from the presidency contest on Thursday.
"Firstly, I have to check and study FAM's budget. I need to know how much money we have, and I will be very transparent about our finances," said TMJ at an official media conference.
"Secondly, I want to fix as much in the national team. That will include our playing philosophy, technology, and playing style.
"I also want to improve the quality of referees. That will include advance technology and recruiting foreign expertise.

"Lastly, I want to reduce the staff in FAM. I don't like to waste resources. I am also a fast worker, so they must my follow my momentum. I will put mostly my people in place in the respective departments in FAM.
Datuk Hamidin Amin was retained as secretary-general, albeit with a friendly warning.
"Hamidin will remain as secretary-general, because he has experience. But he too will have to keep up with the way I work," TMJ said.
"I only want people who can contribute. I will keep all the affliates close to me, and keep them on their toes.
"I have to achieve everything in one term, if not less. To achieve that, I plan to get to work immediately. We must always uphold the dedication, integrity, professionalism in our duties."
Other positions in FAM saw Selangor president Datuk Seri Subahan Kamal garner 37 votes to occupy the deputy president post. Joining him is Melaka United deputy president Datuk Wira Yusoff Mahadi, who replaced the outgoing Datuk Seri Affandi Hamzah.
