Italy coach Cesare Prandelli says he has yet to make up his mind about his future in charge of the Azzurri, saying all will become clearer over the next few weeks.

Prandelli has previously hinted at his desire to return to club management following the World Cup, when his contract with the Italian FA (FIGC) expires. However, he now says the outcome of planned talks with federation bosses is open.

"I'm currently considering things," Prandelli said at a news conference. "Before the end of March, I'll meet two or three times with the FIGC and we'll do this because I need to be 100 percent convinced.
"If there is a project to preserve the football we are playing, then it's more than welcome. If I am to be involved, the Lega [Serie A] and FIGC will have to share this project together with the clubs, to improve the relationship between all the components of Italian football."
In reference to the Italian Oscar-winning film, "La Grande Bellezza," Prandelli added: "For me, 'the great beauty' is coaching Italy."
Prandelli took charge of Italy following Marcello Lippi's second spell, which ended in disappointment at the 2010 World Cup. He guided them to a place in the Euro 2012 final, where they lost handsomely to Spain. Italy qualified for the World Cup with two games to spare and will meet Uruguay, England and Costa Rica in the group stage.
