MANCHESTER, England -- Pep Guardiola has told his Manchester City players that West Ham will do everything to stop them winning a fourth successive Premier League title.

City need to beat West Ham at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday to be crowned champions.

West Ham have nothing riding on the game and David Moyes, who is leaving the club at the end of the season, has said "it will be difficult stopping City's under-14s winning the title."

City, though, have had final day scares in the past, needing late goals to come back from losing positions to beat QPR in 2012 and Aston Villa in 2022.

"He [Moyes] will do everything to beat us," Guardiola told a news conference on Friday.

"I'm ready for it to be a tough, tough game. I want to put in the minds of the players that look at Tottenham, how they fought for every ball.

"It was incredible aggression and commitment that Spurs had. I didn't have any doubts about that. The 11 players at West Ham will be ready to beat us. That happened with Aston Villa in the same position and didn't have anything to play for two seasons ago and I know what happened. It's going to happen the same."

Guardiola has faced Moyes 15 times as a manager and only lost once while City are unbeaten in their last 16 games against West Ham.

Victory would earn Guardiola his sixth Premier League winners medal and earn City another place in history as the first English team to win four top-flight league titles in a row.

Second-placed Arsenal can only hope that City drop points and they capitalise by beating Everton at the Emirates.

"If you ask all the Premier League teams at the start of the season what would be the best position for the last game of the season, we are in the best position," Guardiola said.

"That's for sure. One game, destiny in our hands. We need to win one game to be champions. Every team would love to be in our position, that's for sure.

"But it won't be easy. I have the feeling it will be an Aston Villa game. We would like to be 3-0 up after 10 minutes but it isn't going to happen."
