Torino 2-1 Genoa
Kamil Glik scored twice in the second half as Torino came from behind to beat Genoa 2-1 on Sunday for their first Serie A victory in nearly two months.Iago Falque gave Genoa a 1-0 half-time lead but Glik equalised seven minutes after the restart. The Polish defender then headed home the winner in the 63rd minute to condemn Genoa to their first defeat on the road this season. The win, Torino's fourth of the league campaign, lifted the Granata to 14th place, five points clear of the drop zone.Genoa, who lost 1-0 to Roma last week, missed the opportunity to leapfrog Napoli into third position and end the year in sixth place. The visitors went into the game in Turin without the services of number one goalkeeper Mattia Perin and midfielder Diego Perotti, with both suspended.Toro were unlucky not to take a 34th-minute lead when Alexander Farnerud's bullet strike from 30 yards beat Genoa goalkeeper Eugenio Lamanna but rebounded off the crossbar.Genoa then went in front in the 42nd minute.Alessandro Matri spotted Falque unmarked outside the area and his left-footed effort towards the far post went past Toro goalkeeper Jean-Francois Gillet.Toro deservedly got back on level terms shortly after the interval when Farnerud's free-kick found an unmarked Glik in the six-yard box and he struck the ball past Lamanna. It did not take long for the hosts to take the lead.Lamanna could not hold on to Emiliano Moretti's goal-bound effort and Glik was first to the rebound and he headed the ball into the back of the net.Genoa could not find a way past Toro's well-placed defence before full-time.ends
