Forfar too strong for Ayr
Andy Ryan scored twice as Forfar defeated Ayr 3-1 to move out of the Ladbrokes League One relegation zone.Forfar moved above Cowdenbeath, who lost 1-0 at home to leaders Dunfermline, as Ryan hit a brace and Steven Craig also found the target.The game was three minutes old when Ryan opened the scoring, shooting into the top corner of the Ayr goal.But Ayr were level 10 minutes later as Ryan Stevenson fired across goal to make it 1-1.Ryan struck again with 20 minutes to go and Craig made sure of the win when he scored Forfar's third goal four minutes later.Defeat for Ayr left them seven points behind second-placed Peterhead.
