Sassuolo leap above AC Milan after beating Hellas Verona
Lorenzo Pellegrini's goal secured a 1-0 home victory over Hellas Verona that sent Sassuolo above AC Milan and into sixth place.The Europa League-chasing Neroverdi kept relegated Verona at arm's length in the first half, with Andrea Consigli producing a fine save to deny Pawel Wszolek.Two minutes before the hour mark Pellegrini grabbed his second Serie A goal of the season by finding the back of the net with a long-range strike that left Hellas goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini rooted to the spot.Sassuolo now lead Milan by a single point heading into the final two games of the season.
