Torino rally to shock nine-man Inter Milan with Belotti, Molinaro goals

Andrea Belotti's penalty completed a surprise comeback as Torino beat nine-man Inter Milan 2-1 at San Siro.

The Nerazzurri dominated the first half after taking the lead with a Mauro Icardi spot-kick, but Cristian Molinaro replied for the visitors after the break.

Both Miranda and Yuto Nagatomo saw red for Inter before Belotti turned the game on its head.

Inter needed a foul from Emiliano Moretti to score their opening goal, with the Torino defender's handball offering Icardi the chance to convert a penalty, which he took.

But the Argentinian struggled to create chances from open play, with Marcelo Brozovic enjoying the best opportunities before the break,a left-footed drive from distance and a swerving free kick.

Torino almost caught Inter cold when play resumed. Cesare Bovo's ball forward got the better of Juan Jesus and Samir Handanovic had to react quickly to deny Belotti an easy finish.

The Nerazzurri failed to heed the warning and conceded in the 55th minute as Molinaro collected Maxi Lopez's assist before beating Handanovic with his right boot.

Miranda was soon dismissed for earning his second yellow card of the match for a needless foul on Belotti and all of a sudden Inter looked rather vulnerable.

Their night was certainly going to get worse -- in the 72nd minute Nagatomo brought Belotti down to bring about another penalty and his own dismissal. Belotti made no mistake and Torino were ahead.

Having seen their dominance turned into ill-disciplined chaos, Inter had no answer to Torino's rally as their chances of Champions League football next season took a further hit.
