Genoa pull clear of drop zone with hard-fought win

Udinese striker Antonio Di Natale missed a stoppage-time penalty as Genoa held on for a 2-1 win to pull clear of the Serie A relegation zone.The Grifone were only three points clear of 18th place heading into Sunday's match and Ali Adnan's opener for Udinese looked like prolonging their agony.But Genoa managed to equalise when Duvan Zapata conceded a penalty for handball in the 57th minute - Alessio Cerci converted the spot-kick.Diego Laxalt then turned the game on its head with the goal that boosted Genoa towards their first victory in six attempts, as Di Natale saw an injury-time penalty saved by goalkeeper Mattia Perin.
