Former Palermo forward Franco Brienza has signed a one-year contract with newly promoted Bologna, the Serie A club have announced.
The 36-year-old was a free agent after leaving relegated Cesena in the summer but will continue his top-flight career after committing to the Rossoblu.

Brienza, who has two Italy caps, can also number Siena, Reggina and Atalanta among his previous clubs.
Bologna won the Serie B playoff final last month.
