UFC's Conor McGregor on Cristiano Ronaldo: 'I'd slap the head off him'

He may be many things but one thing you can't accuse UFC's Irish star Conor McGregor of being is shy.

While gearing up for his big rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 202, McGregor was asked about his newfound friendship with footballing megastar Cristiano Ronaldo after the pair were spotted "sparring" together over the summer.

Great to see you bro!!💪🏽🔝

McGregor admitted that he has fostered a good friendship with Ronaldo after bonding over a mutual love of designer underwear, but that wouldn't stop him knocking the Real Madrid forward's block off in an instant.

"[Ronaldo's] a good friend of mine, I've been talking to him for a long time," McGregor told BT Sport. "He messaged me on Instagram a while back because I was wearing his [CR7] underwear during the weigh-in for the [Diego] Brandao fight.

"But he's a nice guy, he's some shape. He went more abs, I went more lats. I'd slap the head off him but he's a very nice guy and he was in tremendous shape, he's a true athlete."

Aw. Sweet.
