France striker Antoine Griezmann offered the match ball from the Euro 2016 hosts' win over Republic of Ireland to the son of a police officer murdered earlier this month.
Griezmann, 25, came to France's rescue last Sunday in Lyon when his second-half double helped the hosts come from behind to win their round-of-16 tie 2-1 in Lyon.
On Wednesday French police released video footage of another touch of class from the Atletico Madrid forward on the day of the game -- only this time it took place off the field.
Outside the Parc OL, man-of-the-match Griezmann handed a ball over to a young fan before posing for a photo.

The French police's official Twitter account says the boy in the footage is the son of Jean-Baptiste Salvaing, a police commander who was killed along with his partner at their home in Magnanville, North-West of Paris, on June 13.
Police said that the young boy -- reportedly the half-brother of the three-year-old child who was in the house at the time of the attack but survived --was invited to the game by French interior minister Bernard Cazeneuve.
