The winter transfer window is closed, but now it's time to look ahead to the summer! Here are the new rumours floating around Europe's big leagues and beyond.
TOP STORY: London's top clubs battle for Real Madrid's Hakimi
The top Premier League clubs in London -- Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur -- are among seven in Europe falling over themselves for the signature of right-back Achraf Hakimi, reports Mundo Deportivo.
The 21-year-old Morocco international has been a revelation during his two-year loan spell at Borussia Dortmund from Real Madrid, which has prompted Juventus, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain to take notice. Dortmund are also keen to keep the player on a permanent basis.
Mundo Deportivo suggests that though Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is keen to sit down with Hakimi about his Los Blancos future, the player himself has said he'll move on unless he moves above Dani Carvajal in the pecking order.
Hakimi's contract is due to run out in June 2022 and has a release clause of around £50 million. He has played 36 games this season, scoring seven goals.

23.19 GMT: James Rodriguez needs a new lease on life but where could he find it?
Spanish paper AS writes that Rodriguez -- no longer part of Zinedine Zidane's plans -- is almost certain to leave Madrid for the second time this summer, and that Man United, Juventus, Napoli and Everton are queueing up for the Colombian.
The paper cites Rodriguez's friendship and shared agent (Jorge Mendes) with Cristiano Ronaldo as a reason he could land at Juventus. United, meanwhile, will likely need to replace Paul Pogba with a marquee central midfielder, something that Rodriguez, has been at various stages of his career. Everton might prove the most interesting case, as new manager Carlo Ancelotti is a huge admirer or Rodriguez, and coached him during the Colombian's best season (2014-2015).
With James desperate for a chance for regular playing time and Madrid keen to cut his wages from their exorbitant bill, it is believed the Spanish club would be willing to drop their asking price from €40 million to €30m in order to get a deal done. That could prove to be a shrewd bit of business for a 28-year-old who not so long ago was one of the most coveted players in world football.
22.35 GMT: Sticking with Spurs... the London club have been handed a blow in their rumoured pursuit of goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha.
Gazzetta Dello Sport, though, understands the Lazio and Albania No. 1 is close to securing a new deal that will keep him in Rome through 2025. The 25-year-old, who is in his fourth season as the No.1 shot-stopper at Lazio, has had a banner season between the posts for Lazio. helping them to a surprise Scudetto challenge before the coronavirus-forced shutdown.
It looks as if Spurs will need to look elsewhere to find a long-term replacement for 33-year-old Hugo Lloris.
21.43 GMT: An update on reported Tottenham and Everton target Geoffrey Kondogbia...
Spanish paper El Desmarque, via football.london claims that Valencia are willing to listen to bids of £61 million or greater for the central midfielder. The ex-France turned Central African Republic international was reportedly a Spurs target last summer before Tottenham elected to sign Lyon's Tanguy Ndombele.
With Ndombele having looked in over his head so far in the Premier League, and Jose Mourinho now manager, Spurs have reportedly rekindled interest in the 27-year-old. Consistently one of La Liga's top tacklers, Kondogbia has previously had stops at Inter Milan, Monaco, Sevilla and Lens.
20.57 GMT: Napoli are expected to be one of this summer's biggest sellers with Fabian Ruiz, Kalidou Koulibaly, Arkadiusz Milik and Jose Callejon among the stars who could leave the San Paolo once the transfer market reopens.
If Napoli reshuffles their pack as expected, West Ham's Felipe Anderson could be one of the players to come in the other door, according to Corriere dello Sport. The paper suggests that the Partnopei are monitoring the ex-Lazio attacking midfielder as a replacement for the 33-year-old Callejon.
Anderson, who often dazzled in his debut campaign in England (nine goals, four assists), has just one league goal this season and Napoli could look to seize on the Brazilian's downturn in form or potentially West Ham's relegation. The report also mentions Sassuolo's Jeremie Boga, Werder Bremen's Milot Rashica, Everton of Brazilian side Gremio and AZ Alkmaar's Oussama Idrissi as other potential winger targets.
20.02 GMT: Lionel Messi to Inter Milan?
The six-time Ballon d'Or winner has just rubbished those links on Instagram, calling rumours he could move to the Serie A club "the first lie."
While not all is well in the relationship between Messi and Barcelona at the moment, the Argentine has consistently reaffirmed his loyalty to the club and his desire to remain at the club which he recently called his home. Messi is under contract through 2021 but reportedly has a clause in it that would allow him to leave at the end of this season should he so choose.
Nothing to see here, back to your social distancing, then.
19.19 GMT: Roma have had success with Premier League castoffs in recent seasons -- Mohamed Salah, Chris Smalling, Henrikh Mkhitaryan -- and are reportedly hoping to test their luck with another: Chelsea's Pedro.
The Spanish winger, who turns 33 in July, is out of contract at the end of the campaign and has confirmed he will leave Stamford Bridge after five seasons. Roma, who have been able to negotiate with the winger since January, reportedly have a £2.7 million-a-year contract plus bonuses offer currently on the table for Pedro.
Pedro, who has won almost everything there is to win in football -- the World Cup, Champions League (x3), La Liga (x5), Copa del Rey (x3), Premier League, FA Cup, Europa League and the European Championships -- is also reportedly a target for Major League Soccer in the U.S.
18.31 GMT: After two-injured ravaged seasons, Corentin Tolisso has become almost a forgotten man at Bayern Munich.
The World Cup winner, who was signed from Lyon for an initial €41.5 million in the summer of 2017, has started just eight Bundesliga games over the past two seasons, having missed almost the entire 2018-19 season due to an ACL tear. Looking to reignite his promising career, Tolisso could be in search of a fresh start, with Arsenal, Man United, Napoli, Juventus and Atletico Madrid all listed as potential suitors by French outlet Foot Mercato.
Still just 25, Tolisso back in 2017 praised the Premier League and mentioned Arsenal as a club he could picture himself playing for.
"Many clubs make me dream like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and England with teams like Arsenal," he said in 2017.
"I like the Premier League and I think I am well suited to it.
"It is the league that offers the most competition, it is the most open, the most hard-fought and the most spectacular."
17.54 GMT: Could ex-Chelsea right-back Ola Aina be headed back to London?
Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport claims that West Ham have enquired about the Torino man in recent weeks.
Aina, 23, was born in London and made six appearances at Stamford Bridge before being loaned out first to Hull and then to Torino. Having joined the latter on a permanent basis for £8.7 million last summer, it would be a bit surprising to see Torino sell the Nigeria international so soon.
The report adds that Everton are also monitoring Aina's situation in Turin with an interested eye.
17.10 BST: Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been talking about the summer transfer window, given the disruption caused by the coronavirus outbreak.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "I'm planning two or three different scenarios that we can face. Depending on one of those three, we will be able to do more, less or nothing.
"We have to react daily. We don't know what the financial situation is going to be, we don't know the rules, the timing, the window. There are so many things we cannot control at the moment."
16.16 BST: Manchester United are exploring their options as they look to resolve Odion Ighalo's future at the club, sources have told ESPN.
United have a loan agreement with Shanghai Shenhua to keep the Nigeria striker at Old Trafford until May 30 but that is unlikely to cover the end of the campaign after the coronavirus pandemic caused football to shut down.
United are keen to have Ighalo available for remaining games in the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League and have not ruled out signing the former Watford man permanently, but there is an acceptance Shanghai hold the cards in any negotiations.
15.43 BST: Manchester United have triggered the one-year extension in Timothy Fosu-Mensah's contract, sources told ESPN. The Dutchman has not played for the first team since May 2017 and has had loans spells at Crystal Palace and Fulham.
15.25 BST: Neymar to Barcelona could be one of the big stories of the summer, but it's unlikely.
14.55 BST: Tottenham are looking to spend £120m on defenders this summer with Benfica's Ruben Dias on the shortlist, according to the Daily Express.
Dias, 22, has been linked with Manchester United before and reportedly has an €80m release clause, although Benfica would likely accept less.
Bournemouth's Nathan Ake, Norwich City's Max Aarons, Nice's Youcef Atal and Leicester City's Ben Chilwell are also being targeted as Jose Mourinho plots to improve his backline.
14.10 BST: If you've seen that AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic is training with Hammarby, who he part-owns, after returning home to Sweden during the coronavirus pandemic, it's not a sudden transfer.
Ibrahimovic agreed to return to AC Milan on a six-month contract in January but, with Serie A suspended until April 13 due to the coronavirus crisis, he is back in Sweden and training with Hammarby as the club got back to it this week.
Given how Ibrahimovic's decision to become part owner of Hammarby upset supporters at his former club Malmo, we wonder how they will take this news? Keep an eye on his statue.
13.25 BST: Barcelona vice president Emili Rousaud has said he feels betrayed by president Josep Maria Bartomeu, who asked him to step down from his position at the club via a telephone call earlier this week.
Sources told ESPN on Wednesday that Bartomeu wants at least four members of his board to resign as huge fractures emerge behind the scenes at Camp Nou.
12.45 BST: The CEO of the German football league (DFL) has predicted the transfer market will collapse this summer because of the global coronavirus pandemic.
"In the short term, I would say the transfer market this summer will not exist, it will collapse," DFL CEO Christian Seifert told The New York Times. "Some agents will suddenly understand that they will have to work hard, or at least work; some leagues will understand that money is nothing that is coming automatically every month from heaven."
12.05 BST: Sadio Mane may need to leave Liverpool in order to achieve his ambition of winning the Ballon d'Or, the most prestigious individual award in football, according to former Senegal international Diomansy Kamara.
"If Mane, one day wants to win the Ballon d'Or, he may have to leave Liverpool as the club are maybe not the best advocates for him, despite their outstanding performances," Kamara told ESPN. "He needs to continue on the road he's going down, as he wasn't too far from finishing on the podium, and even for me he maybe deserved to win it this year.
"Now he needs to continue to work, and maybe even change clubs, because we've seen that Liverpool don't really play to Mane's strengths and [people] gave their votes to Virgil van Dijk even though Mane and to a lesser extend Mohamed Salah were equally in the running."
11.16 BST: Inter Milan are pretty busy in the transfer market and have now set sights on Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum, says Tuttomercatoweb.
Wijnaldum, 29, has a year left on his contract with no signs of a new deal yet. Inter are ready to offer €30m to land the Dutchman but the report also says that club chiefs are not overly hopeful that he will want to leave Anfield.

10.04 BST: It's a Lautaro Martinez day of gossip today. Mundo Deportivo says it will be easier for Barcelona to sign the Inter Milan striker than it would be for them to land PSG's Neymar ... the salary being a big reason
Martinez's agent Beto Yaque also spoke to MD, claiming that the forward is focused on Inter but that Lionel Messi's recent praise was "comforting."
The Argentine is available for his €111m release clause and has been consistently linked with a move to Barcelona to replace Luis Suarez.
09.33 BST: Lille's Gabriel Magalhaes has been linked with a host of clubs, including Everton, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal.
Gabriel, 22, has impressed this season but the Brazilian defender isn't thinking too much about his next move.
"I see it [the speculation], yes. Everyday, my friends send me things: clubs, lots of clubs..." he told France Football. "I am happy, because my work, and everything that I am doing, is being rewarded. It can only do good things for me, but also for people around me. But I am happy at Lille, I feel very good, very happy at the club. I like this club. I do not know what is going to happen, but the aim is to take Lille into the Champions League again. For everything else, I will let my agents and the club speak about it, but I am very happy here."
08.43 BST: Atletico Madrid are keen on signing Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik, reports Diario AS, but face competition from a host of clubs including Everton, AC Milan, Valencia, Sevilla and Schalke.
According to AS, the German side are most advanced in their pursuit, having had a €25m bid rejected by Napoli. But the Italian club value Milik, whose contract expires in 2021, at €40m.
The Spanish newspaper claims that the Poland striker is one of three options that Atletico are considering to add goals to the team, along with Arsenal's Alexandre Lacazette and RB Leipzig's Timo Werner.
Atletico would fund the move by selling forward Thomas Lemar, who has failed to impress in Madrid since becoming their then-record signing for €72m in 2018.
08.00 BST: Bayern Munich are getting some business done during the enforced break due to the coronavirus.
Coach Hansi Flick and club icon Thomas Muller have already agreed to new deals, with Spanish midfielder Thiago Alacantara likely to sign a new contract until 2023, kicker reports.
With three goals and three assists in the recent matches ahead of the break, the 28-year-old has impressed in 2020 so far. He has made 227 competitive appearances for Bayern since joining from Barcelona as Pep Guardiola's first big transfer in 2013.

Zidane targets Rennes rising star Camavinga
Following on the back of reports from ESPN sources, Zidane is targeting Rennes' 17-year-old starlet Eduardo Camavinga, says AS. The youngster has been described as a combination of Casemiro and N'Golo Kante with the physique of Paul Pogba, and he has already played 36 games this season.
Rennes coach Julien Stephan told Canal+: "His potential is enormous. He is also a young player who will need to confirm his ability over time. It could be in his interest to spend an additional year with us -- with the club where he was formed as a youth player. The reality of the market could be different, but my desire is to see Eduardo spend an additional season at Rennes and in Ligue 1. That would allow him to confirm his quality and then leave for a more renowned side."
But Zidane is said to be interested in signing the France U21 international if Madrid's pursuit of Pogba from Manchester United comes to nothing. Pogba remains Zidane's No. 1 target, and it seems increasingly likely that the World Cup winner will leave Old Trafford. However, while Pogba would be a seemingly immediate boost to Zidane's squad, Camavinga would be infinitely cheaper and has huge potential.
Zidane has previous experience when it comes to identifying and nurturing young talent, and he hopes that in Camavinga he has unearthed another Raphael Varane, with the defender joining Madrid at age 17 for just €10m.
Juve and Inter to battle it out for Tonali
Brescia's rising star Sandro Tonali will leave the club this summer and Calciomercato suggests that the usual suspects -- Juve and Inter Milan -- will battle for his signature.
Both clubs have been told that the midfielder dubbed "the new Pirlo" will cost €50m, which Juve consider to be too high. Juve's chief football officer, Fabio Paratici, is keen on Tonali and sees him as a replacement for Sami Khedira, though so far they have suggested a loan move instead of a permanent signing.
Tonali's representatives are currently considering the proposition, but with Juve yet to seal the deal, that could pave the way for Antonio Conte to step in and steal the player from under his rivals' noses.
Tonali is rumoured to have been an AC Milan fan growing up, which could rule out rivals Inter, but the fee could be a sticking point for the Bianconeri. Chelsea were also linked with the midfielder back in March.
