Thiago Messi and Benjamín Suárez, sons of Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez, won first place in the silver bracket at the Easter International Cup by Rayados with Inter Miami's under-13 team.

The youth tournament was organized by Mexican club Monterrey at the weekend in Kissimmee, Florida, with more than 300 teams, including 30 international sides, competing.

Thiago, 11, donning the No. 10 jersey, scored a goal during their 4-0 win against Florida Kraze in the final to help his team win the silver competition. He received his medal alongside his teammates, including Benjamín, 10.

The pair will have to go quite a way to equal their father's exploits, who won a Champions League title and four LaLiga titles among a host of other trophies while starring together at Barcelona. They were reunited in Miami when Suarez joined the club in December.

Benjamin and Thiago will be cheering on Inter Miami in Thursday's Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinal first leg against Liga MX side Monterrey.

Messi, who has been out of action with a hamstring injury for over two weeks, could return although his status remains unclear.
