ESPN.com surveyed 103 tour pros, 21 of whom were major champions, and gathered their thoughts on myriad topics. The players came from 20 different countries, and their answers are below.

The Northern Irishman will certainly have numerous occasions to win the Masters, but will he finish off the career Grand Slam this week at Augusta National? Nearly one-quarter of pros surveyed think he will earn career major No. 5 before the week is out. (Three players polled chose not to answer.)

Woods' epic victory at the 2008 U.S. Open -- on a broken leg -- is now nearly seven years in the past. Will he ever get No. 15? Of those surveyed before his first PGA Tour start of 2015, the answer was a resounding yes (at 93 percent). After his Torrey Pines withdrawal (and an 82 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open), that number dipped to nearly 50-50.

The policy of not announcing fines or suspensions (in almost every scenario) is tried and true by those who run the PGA Tour. Most players we talked to didn't agree with the lack of transparency in their sport. (Nine players chose not to answer.)

Not as private as you think
The image of pro golfers cruising from tournament to tournament in their private jets isn't as common as you might think. Nearly three-quarters of the players we talked to said they fly mostly commercial -- just like the rest of us. (Twelve players said their travel is 50/50 between commercial and private.)
