Projected Patriot League standings

2014-15 Projected Patriot League Standings

1. American University Eagles | 2. Holy Cross Crusaders | 3. Boston University Terriers | 4. Army Black Knights | 5. Colgate Raiders | 6. Bucknell Bison | 7. Lafayette Leopards | 8. Lehigh Mountain Hawks | 9. Loyola (MD) Greyhounds | 10. Navy Midshipmen

The Patriot League in recent years has been home to big-name stars -- by low-major conference standards, anyway. With Mike Muscala and C.J. McCollum now plying their trade in the professional ranks, the next generation of Patriot stars made for an entertaining 2013-14 season. Big men Tony Wroblicky (American) and Dave Dudzinski (Holy Cross), guards Darius Gardner (American) and Maurice Watson (Boston University), and wing Cameron Ayers (Bucknell) electrified the league last season, acting as catalysts in a reasonably tight five-team race for the conference crown.

Gardner is the only star left standing this season, giving American a leg up on decimated Boston University and Bucknell teams. The Eagles should also be a step ahead of a solid batch of returners at Holy Cross and programs on the rise at Army and Colgate.
