CLEVELAND -- Right-hander Carlos Carrasco left the Cleveland Indians' 8-7 win over the Tampa Bay Rays in the fourth inning with left pectoral tightness.
Carrasco was removed with two runners on and two out after Brad Miller's RBI single. He was visited by manager Terry Francona and a team trainer and walked off the field after a short conversation.
Carrasco isn't sure if he'll miss a start.
"I don't worry about that,'' he said. "I'm waiting until tomorrow. We'll see what's going and go from there.''
Cleveland's rotation is already missing one pillar, with right-hander Corey Kluber on the disabled list because of a strained lower back.
Carrasco allowed five runs in 3⅔ innings and left with Cleveland ahead 7-4.
"Tito made the right decision to take me out before it got worse,'' Carrasco said.
"He wasn't letting it go, and it made me start to worry a little bit,'' Francona said. "We'll certainly look at him more tomorrow. We'll have a much better read.''
Abraham Almonte also left the game early. The Indians right fielder aggravated a right biceps strain in the fifth inning and was replaced by Daniel Robertson. Almonte missed Friday's game against Minnesota because of the biceps injury.
Francona said Almonte is headed to the disabled list.
