The Chicago White Sox have acquired Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Jarrod Dyson in a trade, the Pirates announced Friday.
In return, the Pirates will receive $243,300 toward its international signing bonus pool.
Dyson is hitting .157 with zero home runs and five RBIs this season.
The 36-year-old is a career .245 hitter over 11 major league seasons with the Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners, Arizona Diamondbacks and Pirates.
