Kevin Durant (ankle) misses 2nd straight

MILWAUKEE -- Kevin Durant missed his second consecutive game with a sprained left ankle as the Oklahoma City Thunder played the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night.

Durant, the NBA's leading scorer, did not suit up in the Thunder's 89-84 victory over the Celtics in Boston on Friday night. It was his first game out since he missed seven in a row in March 2009.

Coach Scott Brooks said there was no point in rushing Durant back, although he worked out before the game.

"Kevin is a competitor," Brooks said before the game. "He wants to play, but the right thing to do is make sure he is ready to play at the level that we need him at, and that's 100 percent."

Brooks said the Thunder would see how Durant felt Monday after a day off.
