Raptors' Chris Boucher passes concussion protocol after hard fall

Toronto Raptors forward Chris Boucher left Thursday night's preseason game against the New Orleans Pelicans after appearing to land on his head after a hard fall.

Raptors spokesman Roven Yau said after the game that Boucher "passed the NBA concussion protocol and will continued to be monitored."

The fall occurred with just more than eight minutes left, when Boucher collided with the Pelicans' Anthony Davis as both players leapt into the paint for a rebound.

Boucher landed horizontally, and his head appeared to strike the court. He remained down a couple of minutes while he received treatment and needed help walking to the locker room.

The Raptors went on to win 134-119.
