Nurkic earned $1.25M bonus with win No. 50

The Portland Trail Blazers continued to fight for home-court advantage in the playoffs by winning their 50th game Wednesday night.

The benchmark also made injured center Jusuf Nurkic $1.25 million richer.

Nurkic had to appear in a minimum of 70 games to be eligible for the contract bonus. He played in 72 before suffering two fractures to his lower left leg on March 25.

With the victory, the Blazers improved to 50-28 on the season, reaching 50 wins for the first time in four regular seasons with the 116-89 victory over Memphis. Portland held on to fourth in the West standings, two games up on the Utah Jazz.
