Ja Morant massively trolls Karl-Anthony Towns after Grizzlies' huge comeback

The Minnesota Timberwolves were up big in the second quarter of Game 3 of their playoff series against the Memphis Grizzlies when Karl-Anthony Towns was caught on the sideline rejoicing in the fact that his team, after taking one of two games in Memphis, was playing well on its home court.

Things did not go as he planned after that.

After a first quarter in which the Timberwolves dropped 39 points to Memphis' 21, they suddenly forgot how to score, managing only 56 points over the remainder of the game. The Grizzlies, on the other hand, dropped 83, including a fourth quarter in which they outscored the Timberwolves 37-12. Their win after trailing by 26 is the third-largest playoff comeback in the play-by-play era, according to ESPN Stats & Information research.

As a result, Towns' "We in Minnesota now!" celebration has not aged well. It also didn't escape the notice of Ja Morant, who had a triple-double (16 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) in the Grizzlies' 104-95 win. Morant dropped a huge burn on Towns on Twitter after the game concluded -- and all he had to do was quote Towns' words back at him.
