Minnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley was named the NBA's Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year on Wednesday, the second time in his career he has won the award.

Conley, who also won the award in 2018-19, finished with 51 first-place votes and 1172 total points, finishing ahead of Brooklyn Nets forward Mikal Bridges (47 first-place votes, 1041 points) and New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (29 first-place votes, 783 total points).

The league's players vote on this award each year, after the list is whittled down to six players from each conference, with no team getting more than a single player nominated. In addition to Conley, Bridges and Brunson, the nominees were: Indiana Pacers guard T.J. McConnell, Cleveland Cavaliers forward Georges Niang, Boston Celtics center Al Horford, New Orleans Pelicans center Larry Nance Jr., Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams, Denver Nuggets guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Dallas Mavericks center Dwight Powell, Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes and Orlando Magic guard Markelle Fultz.

In addition to now winning this award twice, Conley -- now in his 17th NBA season -- has also won the league's sportsmanship award on four different occasions.

This was the sixth award to be handed out, following Most Improved Player (Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey), Sixth Man of the Year (Timberwolves center Naz Reid), Clutch Player of the Year (Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry), Coach of the Year (Thunder coach Mark Daignault) and Executive of the Year (Celtics president of basketball operations Brad Stevens).

The NBA will unveil the winner of the Hustle Award on Thursday, as well as eventually announcing its other individual award winners -- Most Valuable Player, Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year -- later in the playoffs, along with the selections to the All-NBA, All-Defensive and All-Rookie teams.
