New York Road Runners announced Thursday that the application for the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon entry drawing will open on Monday. Runners can register for free at tcsnycmarathon.org for an opportunity to gain entry into the marathon, which takes place Nov. 3.
The monthlong entry application window is open to runners ages 18 and older and limited to one entry per person. The entry drawing calendar includes the following dates:
Jan. 14: Application window opens at noon ET for the entry drawing.
Feb. 14: Window closes for applications at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Feb. 27: The drawing takes place and runners are notified of their entry status.
