We've identified the top all-time quarterbacks for every NFL team and asked our NFL Nation beat reporters -- and you, the fans -- to help us determine each signal-caller's place in franchise history.
What follows is the final ranking of the top quarterbacks in Tampa Bay Buccaneers history, both from our NFL Nation reporter and our final fan polling.
NFL Nation ranking:
1. Doug Williams
2. Brad Johnson
4. Vinny Testaverde
5. Trent Dilfer
Williams led the Bucs to the 1979 NFC Championship Game and the playoffs three times in four years, an improbable feat for a 1976 expansion team that went 0-26 the first two years. Johnson may have been "Checkdown Charlie," but he rarely made mistakes and was the only QB to lead the Bucs to a Super Bowl. Winston shattered franchise records in passing yards and touchdowns in just his second year, pushing him above Testaverde, although Testaverde played on some awful teams. Dilfer's greatest success in the league was largely aided by the Baltimore Ravens' defense. Shaun King and Josh Freeman deserve honorable mentions. -- Jenna Laine
