Cuevas-Moore, No. 13 South Carolina beat Lady Vols 82-67

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Bianca Cuevas-Moore scored a career-high 28 points as No. 13 South Carolina never trailed in an 82-67 victory over Tennessee on Sunday.

South Carolina (20-7, 12-2 Southeastern Conference) overcame the absence of leading scorer Te'a Cooper, who sprained her left ankle Thursday in a 65-57 loss to No. 16 Kentucky. Cooper began her college career at Tennessee, and this would have marked the first time she had played against her former team.

Doniyah Cliney matched a career high with 16 points and Alexis Jennings scored 13 of her 15 points in the second half for South Carolina. Tyasha Harris had 11 points, a career-high 14 assists, seven rebounds and only one turnover.

Rennia Davis scored 15 points, Zaay Green had 12, Cheridene Green provided 11 and Evina Westbrook added 10 for Tennessee.

Tennessee (17-10, 6-8) must win its final two games to avoid finishing the regular season below .500 in SEC competition for the first time.
