Australian javelin champion Jarrod Bannister has died suddenly in The Netherlands.
Bannister, 33, won the gold medal in the javelin at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and was the Australian national record holder.
He had been training and living in Holland with his girlfriend.
There are reportedly no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
