A Diamond League trophy, a World Championships silver medal, two personal bests and a podium finish in all six events he has competed in - all of this in 87 days. Neeraj Chopra has had a 2022 to cherish.

Neeraj is the first Indian to win the Diamond League title and also the first Indian male athlete to clinch a medal at the World Championships. [The only other Indian to medal in a Worlds is Anju Bobby George, who won bronze in long jump in 2003]
