LONG BEACH, Calif. -- For the second time in the last three days, Washington Nationals infielder Dalton Dulin is honored as the Zinger Offensive Player of the Day because of his ability to be a disruptive force at the plate and on the bases.
Benefiting from playing two games on Wednesday -- the Texas Rangers had an off day, so the Nationals filled in their place -- Dulin went a combined 3-for-6 (all singles) with three runs scored, a walk and an RBI.
The Memphis University School (Memphis, Tenn.) infielder and Mississippi commit is a two-time Area Code Games participant.
