Oregon Week 3 POWERADE baseball rankings

Central Catholic was the lone team to fall out of our top 10 this week as the Rams dropped to 7-4 on the season. There was little movement to the rest of our top 10 as the top five teams remain intact and we welcomed undefeated Thurston to the mix. Jesuit is ranked regionally (No. 19) and has a shot at representing Oregon in the POWERADE FAB 50 if it continues to dominate its competition. The Crusaders have held five opponents to two runs or fewer during their strong start. Also look for Roseburg and Lake Oswego as candidates to supplant Jesuit should it falter in the coming weeks. In 5A, it appears to be a two-team race between Sherwood and Pendleton. Sherwood is still undefeated while Pendleton is looking for some stability after going 3-2 in recent weeks.

Here's a look at the top of the rankings:

1. Jesuit (8-1) — last week No. 1

2. Roseburg (8-1) — last week No. 2

3. Lake Oswego (9-2) — last week No. 3
