According to Sean Deveney of the Sporting News, the Houston Rockets are shopping point guard Patrick Beverley. In addition, Beverley wouldn't mind a move out of Houston, reports Deveney.
A fan wrote to Beverley on Twitter that he should ignore the report and wasn't going to be traded. Well, he responded by tweeting: "Naw I wouldn't say that!!!"
When another fan said he should come home, Beverley wrote: "I know right. That would be dope."
Beverley, born in Chicago, has a cap-friendly contract as he is set to make $5.51 million in 2017-18 and $5.02 million in 2018-19, although the final season of his contract is not guaranteed.
Beverley, a five-year NBA veteran, has spent his entire career with the Rockets.
In 2016-17, Beverley averaged 9.5 points, 4.2 assists and 5.9 rebounds.
