Six-foot-8 center Mike Watkins (Philadelphia/Imhotep Charter) ended his recruitment on Wednesday with a verbal pledge to Penn State, according to multiple sources.

The junior-to-be was garnering interest from high-major programs, including Villanova and Miami (Fla.). He is the first recruit from the 2015 class for the Nittany Lions.
