Tight end Tom Sweeney (Ramsey, N.J./Don Bosco) has committed to sign with Boston College, according to multiple reports.

The Eagles are Sweeney's only scholarship offer but the 6-foot-5, 225-pound athlete also received some interest from Miami (Fla.) and Rutgers.

Boston College currently has a pair linebackers on its roster from Don Bosco in Steele Divitto and Mike Strizak. The sons of Don Bosco head coach Greg Toal, Greg and Brian, both played for the Eagles.
