The Roanoke Times reports that three-star wide receiver Cameron Phillips (Hyattsville, Md./DeMatha Catholic) has committed to sign with Virginia Tech.
DeMatha coach coach Elijah Brooks confirmed the rising senior's decision on Twitter:

He selected the Hokies over scholarship offers from Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Penn State, Rutgers, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Connecticut and Maryland also recruited the 6-foot, 176-pound prospect.
Last fall, Phillips caught 34 passes for 632 yards (18.6 average) and 8 touchdowns.
