Best of the college football recruiting visits: SEC

Though the slate of games in the SEC Saturday was far from good, it did provide several entertaining games. Recruits from around the Southeast attended several of these games and either posted videos or photos of their experiences on social media. Here is a closer look at the sights and sounds from the weekend visitors in the SEC:

ESPN 300 offensive tackle Scott Lashley took an unofficial visit to Ole Miss over the weekend to watch the Rebels gain a big 38-17 win over LSU. After the game, Lashley posed for a photo with Ole Miss starting left tackle Laremy Tunsil, a guy who the Ole Miss coaches are hoping Lashley can help replace.

ESPN Junior 300 prospect Kylin Hill was also in attendance for the Rebels' big win on Saturday. Hill tweeted out a photo of himself along with Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell as well as a video Hill took prior to the game starting.

While Georgia survived an overtime scare against Georgia Southern, the Bulldogs had several top recruits in attendance. Among the recruits was the No. 1-ranked wide receiver in the country, Kyle Davis. The talented pass-catcher posed with two fans for a photo during his trip to Athens.

ESPN 300 offensive tackle E.J. Price, a former Georgia commit, visited the Bulldogs yet again and by the looks of the tweet he sent out, it looks like Georgia is well out in front for Price once again.

Several top prospects including Price, Davis and ESPN Junior 300 athlete Jamyest Williams, posed for a picture before the Georgia game on Saturday. Despite the on-field struggles Georgia is having, recruiting has not appeared to slow down one bit.

Vanderbilt suffered a tough 25-0 home loss to Texas A&M on Saturday night. To make matters worse for the Commodores, Texas A&M linebacker commit Tyrel Dodson made the short trip from Franklin, Tennessee over to Nashville to watch the team he is committed to take on Vanderbilt. Dodson posted a few photo's of his experience on Twitter.

Former 2018 Ohio State commit Bruce Judson took an unofficial visit to Florida this weekend to watch the Gators barely escape with a win against FAU. Despite the close call, Judson tweeted that he enjoyed his time at Florida.
