Luginbill: Harbaugh's recruiting resonates (1:17)

Craig Haubert and Tom Luginbill have no problem with how Jim Harbaugh recruits players because he gets results. (1:17)

ESPN 300 athlete David Long hosted Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh on an in-home visit Monday, along with a slew of other Michigan coaches. Long shared a few of the highlights of the visit on social media and, of course, Harbaugh didn’t disappoint in doing something a little odd.

That included Harbaugh climbing a tree while playing a game of catch with Long and his siblings.

Long said there was a reason Harbaugh ended up in the tree, and it obviously had to do with competition, since that’s what Harbaugh is known for.

“My little sister asked if he could climb the tree,” Long said. “He was just trying to fulfill her request. He ended up putting my little brother up instead, because he never actually made it up.”

Long, who is deciding between Michigan and Washington, also posted a video on his Twitter account asking the Michigan coaches how business was going.

If the Wolverines land Long, business will definitely still be booming, as Michigan is looking to close out a highly ranked recruiting class a few weeks out from signing day.

Some of Harbaugh's antics have raised eyebrows, but they seem to be working, as Michigan currently has the No. 4 ranked recruiting class in the country.
