ST. LUCIE 4, LAKELAND 2; LAKELAND 4, ST. LUCIE 1: Sunday’s game was suspended with no score in the top of the second. When play resumed Monday, Mickey Jannis took over for Chris Flexen on the mound and delivered 5 1/3 solid innings to earn the win. Jannis, a knuckleballer who was demoted from Double-A Binghamton, scattered five hits and allowed one run. He walked three and struck out two. Alex Palsha gave up one unearned run over the final two innings to get his first Florida State League save. The Mets scratched a run across in the second when David Thompson reached on a wild pitch on a strikeout and later scored on an infield hit by Jhoan Urena. Patrick Biondi and Kevin Taylor added RBI singles and Luis Guillorme laced a run-scoring double. Biondi went 3-for-3 with a sac bunt. Vinny Siena added two hits. In the seven-inning nightcap, Lakeland’s Ismael Salgado blasted a two-run double against Robby Coles in the fifth to break a scoreless tie. Salgado went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored. The Mets were able to avoid a shutout when Guillorme doubled and scored on two wild pitches in the seventh. Box 1, Box 2

GREENEVILLE 9, KINGSPORT 2: K-Mets starter Adonis Uceta allowed eight runs (five earned) in 4 1/3 innings. Box

BROOKLYN 1, ABERDEEN 0: Erik Manoah (5-1) had control issues early, but ultimately logged seven scoreless innings and combined with Taylor Henry and Joseph Zanghi on the shutout. Manoah worked around a pair of baserunners in the second and third innings. He tied his career high with nine strikeouts while allowing four hits and a pair of walks. In the fourth, Jacob Zanon singled and swiped second for his league-leading 18th steal. He continued on to third on that play because of a wild pitch. Nick Sergakis then struck out and Colby Woodmansee popped out. But Peter Alonso came through with a two-out hit for the game's lone run. Box
