Very few teams can win the 2016 CFP, but Stanford is one of them

There are 128 teams who play at the highest level of college football, and they all start the season undefeated. But the harsh reality is only 11 have a legitimate chance to win the College Football Playoff.

In the 10th installment of an 11-part series, let's take a look at another of the few teams that could actually win the CFP: the Stanford Cardinal.

But the Cardinal lose 11 starters from a squad that finished 12-2, but head coach David Shaw and his staff have stockpiled more than enough talent to finish stronger in 2016.

Here are nine reasons Stanford could win it all this season. And yes, one of them is Christian McCaffrey.
