The Utah Utes are rocking sleek new helmets on Friday night as they host the USC Trojans in Salt Lake City.
The new designer black helmets were hand-painted and designed to emulate a granite texture. Each one also has its own unique serial number painted on it.

According to a media release, the helmet design was the brainchild of Utah director of equipment operations Kelly Sharitt and his assistant, Cody Heidbreder, and the new headgear is intended to coordinate with any Utah uniform combination.
