UGA signing day a wild one

ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia once again was at the center of the national signing day hullabaloo this year, but not for the overwhelming positivity that accompanied last year's "Dream Team" officially becoming Bulldogs.

Wednesday's signing day proceedings that started with heralded outside linebacker prospect Josh Harvey-Clemons (Valdosta, Ga./Lowndes) announcing live on ESPNU that he would sign with the Bulldogs turned into a daylong soap opera as Mark Richt and his coaching staff waited for Harvey-Clemons to submit his completed letter of intent.

"I am 100 percent Georgia," Harvey-Clemons told DawgNation late in the afternoon, dispelling rumors that he was reconsidering his choice. "I just have to finish my paperwork and send it in. It might be tonight or tomorrow."
