Recruit 411: Blake Tibbs

ATHENS, Ga. -- There is more to the comparison of Blake Tibbs and A.J. Green than the No. 8 that Tibbs hopes to wear while playing receiver for the Georgia Bulldogs.

It would be incredibly ambitious to expect that Tibbs would have a career similar to that of Green, who became one of the best receivers in program history before leaving after a standout junior season to become a first-round NFL draft pick in 2011. But Tibbs' coach at Martin Luther King in Lithonia, Ga., said his former player has an ability to make tough catches that will remind Georgia fans of their former star wideout.

"I know he has a highlight as a screensaver on his phone of A.J. Green reaching out -- I'm not sure which game it was -- where he made a great catch across the middle of the field," Carson said. "I look at that picture and I actually see the resemblance of Blake there. This kid, he reached out and caught plenty of passes for us and made play after play for us. I think he's going to do real well there."
