5 pm After an hour and twenty-five minutes of waiting, we were eventually able to start the game with 15 overs. Pakistan's batting difficulties persist early in the match. Nawaz departed for a duck after a reckless swing of the bat. The batters maintained their fearless attitude and approach, throwing their bats at anything and everything. Irfan and Salman were attempting to rebuild the innings, but Sodhi took two wickets in the seventh over, dismissed Irfan and Khushdil, and shifted the momentum of the game again. Salman batted excellently, scoring 46 runs off 28 balls, his career-best innings in T20I cricket. Shadab and Shaheen both had wonderful cameos later on. Duffy, Sears, Neesham, and Sodhi all bagged two wickets each. Pakistan may fall short by 10-15 runs on what appears to be a solid batting surface. The ground is small, and the weather is great right now. Let's see how New Zealand's batters handle the run chase after a brief break.
