4.1 Pace-off does the trick! Off-cutter on a shorter length, angling into his body as he backs away; miscues the skier and is taken by the captain at long-on; regulation catch and Haris makes an impact straightaway; got the danger man out of the equation. Both openers are back in the hut 43/2
0.5 Bustling in, pitched up and gets it to swing back fair bit into his pads, he goes with the motions and casually whips it off his toes and Haris Rauf pulls off an absolute spellbinding catch at short fine, diving and reacting at the speed of light to see the back of Allen. That's what Pakistan was looking for; they have got the early strike. Allen walks away crestfallen and in utter disbelief. It was a one-handed gem from Haris 3/1
12.5 Oh boy; that'll hurt. The man in ominous touch departs with a soft dismissal. Slower one that climbs off the deck and he is unable to control his swing, taken by Shadab at short third. Nevertheless, it was a magnificent innings laced with some gorgeous shots and he really stamped his authority on the bowlers, did his job 141/5
9.1 Full and wide with barely any turn; he chases the wide one and throws his bat and gets the to-end. Haris Rauf at short third takes a simpler catch on this occasion and Pakistan get the much-needed breakthrough. Smartly bowled, Mitchell went with the flow and didn't want to slow down at all; not quite connected as we would have liked. Time for drinks 98/3
11.5 Trapped him lbw! That looked close; convincing appeal for an lbw and the umpire took some time before raising the dreaded finger. Good length, jags back in at middle and tenderizes the left pad, no real doubt and Neesham has to go! 135/4
14.5 Stumps shattered, what a sight for the bowler. Got the line right and the right pace. Through the gate, on a length and spins in, beating his ambitious mow down the ground and the zingers are alight, whooshes past the swinging blade. Abrar gets the last laugh 164/6
18.2 Pace-off and targets the middle, he is early through his pull and ends up chopping it on. Fabulously, and smartly, bowled at the death and gets his second wicket. Gets New Zealand's captain. Gun bowling 193/8
14.6 Slip in place. Abrar is hungry for wickets. Got the plan right. Probing line and length, Jamieson has no clue, chasing it outside off, not taking into account the turn and gets a thick inside edge that brings his demise. Pakistan have picked up wickets quickly and New Zealand find themselves in a bit of a bother but they have still got a pretty decent total 164/7
18.4 Oh that's a tracer bullet plugging away on a nagging off-stump line, throws the kitchen sink, trying to tonk it over the leg side and ends up feathering it to the keeper. Haris continues to impress, bowling with some serious pace and with good control 194/9
19.5 Keeps peppering him with slower ones; length and follows him as he shimmies down leg, launched into the air and taken by the fielder at long-on, as easy as you like. Pakistan team are in a huddle and Salman is galvanizing the troops 204/10
