Scorecard
Javeria Khan's quick half-century helped set up Pakistan Women's 13-run win against Bangladesh Women at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium. Pakistan, batting first, made 126 for 4 on the back of Javeria's 55-ball 58, and her 109-run association for the third wicket with Bismah Maroof who scored 39. No other batter reached double digits for the visitors, but Bangladesh were made to rue the 19 extras they conceded, including 11 wides.
Bangladesh began solidly, as the openers Shamina Sultana and Ayasha Rahman put up 30 by the sixth over, but three wickets in the space of eight deliveries hampered their progress. Fargana Hoque (35) helped the team recover from 33 for 3 to 100 for 4 by the 18th over, but they were ultimately unable to maintain the required rate and were restricted to 113 for 6 from their 20 overs. Asmavia Iqbla snared two wickets for Pakistan, while Sania Khan, Sana Mir and Anam Amin chipped in with a scalp each.
