12.5 caught on the deep midwicket boundary! Pollard pitched it short, Shehzad met it on the front foot and pulled, but he was slightly cramped for room. He hit it straight to Simmons who judged it well 78/4
3.6 caught at short third man! Badree bowled a tight length on off stump, Hafeez went back to cut but ended up getting more of a top edge straight to Simmons. He was caught in that position in the first game too 24/1
6.1 caught and bowled! Amin mis-timed the straight drive - it's difficult to hit on the up on this pitch - and Sammy reached out with his right hand and took the catch at around waist height. A sharp catch, for that was struck quite firmly 39/2
7.6 a splendid caught and bowled! Haris gave the bowler the charge and lofted down the ground, he did not time it well though and ended up miscuing it towards the region between mid-on and mid-off. With both fielders on the boundary, Badree realised he was best placed to go for it and so he turned around in his follow through and ran. He got to the ball as it dropped over his head, reached out both arms at full straight, caught it and tumbled, the ball safely in his grasp 42/3

15.5 he's hit that into the wind and the ball falls into Samuels' hands on the long leg boundary. Afridi got down low and slog swept the ball, but I think it hit the top edge, the boundary has been pulled in and Samuels took the catch on the edge of the rope 96/5
17.2 stumped by a huge distance! Azam came out of his crease too early, Narine had plenty of time to outwit the batsman and he did so by bowling a shorter, flatter and faster delivery that went away from the right hander. Azam was nowhere near the pitch of the ball and was beaten on the outside edge. Charles had a simple stumping to complete 109/6
17.5 another one goes! Tanvir tried to swat that behind square leg, the ball pitched on middle and began to spin across the left-hander, it hit the top edge and lobbed to Bravo at short fine leg 109/7

1.4 caught behind! That's a sharp catch. Charles' feet were rooted to the crease as he tried to cut a good length ball that angled across him. He didn't have much room and got a thick outside edge that flew very quickly to Akmal's right. He managed to stick his right glove out and grab it 2/1
2.2 Afridi flings the ball in the air after taking a simple catch at cover! Gayle leaned forward and closed the face against the ball angling into him from round the wicket, it lobbed off the leading edge straight to the fielder. Gayle's wretched form continues, he's dismissed on 999 T20 international runs 2/2
3.1 caught behind, West Indies are being shredded. Tanvir pitches on a good length in line with the stumps from over the wicket and gets the ball to bounce sharply as it angles across Samuels, who is caught in his crease as he prods at the ball, it hits the outside edge and Akmal takes another one 4/3
7.6 bowled between bat and pad! Simmons pushed forward to defend but left a sizeable gap between the bat and the front pad. Afridi went straight through it with a straighter one and hit middle stump 17/4
16.6 after conceding all those runs, Babar's taken out both batsmen! Bravo made room and tried to clear the wide long-off boundary, he did not hit it far enough and Azam ran to his left from long off and took the catch. And just as quickly as the chase sparked to life, it has fizzled out ... 94/7
13.3 there's no mis-judgement this time! Narine heaved at the ball and hit it straight to Umar Amin at long-on, he had to run in to take the catch. Narine's done the job he was sent to do though 64/5
16.5 this time he holes out! Pollard made room by moving outside leg but instead of hitting straight, which is where he was aiming, he ended up slicing the ball over cover. Haris came in from the boundary and judged the catch well 94/6
18.3 the ninth wicket falls, Sammy clears his front foot and tries to clear the straight boundary, he only succeeds in hitting it to Afridi at long off 105/9
17.6 Barnwell's been run out! He played the ball to deep midwicket and ran the single and then hared back for the second, putting in a desperate dive too. The throw from Azam was good and the keeper broke the stumps with Barnwell's stretched bat just short 105/8

Match Notes

  • Akmal, bowlers give Pakistan T20 series

Umar Akmal's 46 off 36 gave Pakistan the final surge to take them to 135, which their bowlers made look like 185 on a slow, dry and used pitch to give them the Twenty20 series to go with the ODI spoils
