Presentation
AB de Villliers: "It was a great team effort. It was a pleasure playing here in Benoni, and it was a great series and well-played by Pakistan team too. It is always easy turning back to Dale, but the whole bowling unit got better and better. Ryan is one of those guys, he just makes it happen, he got Misbah and Afridi in one over and that was a big game changer. Pakistan are a world-class team, they will surely climb the world-rankings soon and good luck to them. I am in good form at the moment, but I am not probably timing it as well as I like to."
AB wins both Man of the Match and the Man of the Series awards
Misbah: "I think it was a 250 pitch and it was gettable the way we started, but we lost wickets at crucial times and chose wrong shots, but SA played really well. We had a good partnership in the middle and we should have stretched it was 1 10 more overs. (on AB's drop) These things happen in cricket. But Irfan bowled really well throughout the series and gave us all the crucial breakthroughs, he just needs to work on his fitness a bit. The team got some confidence during the series, we just need to play quality cricket and keep competing. We could have really enjoyed had we won this one, but still a good series. "
The match had all the makings of a good contest here in Benoni, but Pakistan fell short by 30-40 runs on a pitch that had enough on it to keep the bowlers in business. But it came down to the experience and the brilliance of AB de Villiers to steer the chase and do this easily for South Africa. Farhan Behaardien played a mature innings too and well supported his captain. So SA remains one destination where Pakistan haven't won an ODI series. Stick around because we will have the pearls from captains in just a bit...
luke: "may SA's river of off-nights continue long into the future!! yet another good win:)"
suhail shafi shah: "well played S.A. and Pakistan.. both of u entertained us for last 3 months or so.. congrates S.A. & A.B. for outperforming Pak when it mattered..."
Osama Baig: "... Aaaaannnd the trend continues. Screen matches in university = Pakistan loses. (No, AB had nothing to do with it)"
Magpie: "Even chokers can have an off night. After all, that's how they win..."
Trevor: "miller denies ab a ton"
Wahab comes from over the wicket

SafferBoy: "Funny how SA are chokers when Sri Lanka has lost -if I'm not mistaken- 4 consecutive finals that they've played in...Surely they hold the title now?"
Ryan: "Funny how people think SA have no chance of winning Champions Trophy based on past history - yet SA won it in 1998. It's a forgettable tournament tbh."

gav: "South Africa are a good solid well structured side surely. But they are the best chokers at international tournaments."
Dirk: "No, Chris, you're only second as you can't play rugby, tennis, golf, guitar, tests , field, keep wicket and invent shots - although you are the king of slog. Sorry."
Peter: "If AB's captaincy is anything like his batting, we can expect a declaration in future matches"
