Presentation:
Misbah: "If we had 50-70 runs more in Cape Town, that was the chance we had to win a match. There is a chance for us in the one-dayers. Batting-wise we are disappointed.
Kyle Abbott is the Man of the Match: "I will go home tomorrow and reflect on everything. It still hasn't sunken in. Its been an awesome few days with the team. I didn't think too much about taking wickets. Kept it as simple as possible."
AB de Villiers is the Man of the Series: "I am really enjoying the challenge of batting and keeping. It's just a lot of hard work, catching a lot of balls. I have worked hard with the management team, we are pulling in the same direction. I really enjoyed this series, its nice to know we played like the No.1 team in the world."
Smith: "We were really looking forward to playing in front of our own fans. It was great to see the turnouts. We are hoping to achieve more. Very proud to be the first captain to 50 Test wins, very proud that it is a South African who has got there. I said before that depth was going to be a key factor in us staying No.1. And that showed here. When we go to the UAE to play Pakistan, it will be our first challenge of the new season and we hope to do well there."
That's it from us here. Thanks for your company. The cricket continues. Cheers!
End of the match: 50 Test wins for Graeme Smith! South Africa have won all five home Tests this summer, to go with their 2-0 sweep of New Zealand. They're No.1 and sure know how to stay there.
Umer Rana : "The openers were sitting ducks against brand new cherry, the middle order was brittle, always a collapse loomed around the corner. The tail was searching for a place to hide for a cover. The arduous tale of Pakistani batting on this tour so far."
Emmad Hameed: "Foreign coaches and whitewashes since 1999, Richard Pybus Australia 1999, Pybus again vs Australia and South Africa 2002-3... Bob Woolmer against Australia 2004-05 and now Dav Whatmore 2013.... They sure bring consistency in our ranks!!"
Pakistan showed some fight at Newlands but their resistance wasn't enough to prevent a 3-0 sweep. This series has lasted a total of 11 days out of 15. Shows how SA have dominated.
Just a year ago, Pakistan inflicted a 3-0 sweep on the No1 team in the world at the time, England. Now, they have suffered at the hands of the current No.1 team. Sport can do funny things to you. South Africa are undefeated for 15 consecutive Tests.
Waiting for the announcements. Unfortunately we do not have television coverage of the presentation.
